Site Tour
NAPM-NM is pleased to offer a site
tour of the Albuquerque Journal. From a supply chain perspective, this tour
will be very enlightening, considering tight deadlines, critical materials and
equipment requirements, round the clock operations, importance of safety stock,
etc. This tour is a real crowd-pleaser. We only have 30 spaces available,
so respond soon if you want to reserve one.
RSVP by Monday, March 22, 2010, to reserve your space: pgallego@phs.org
WHEN: Wednesday, March 24, 2010
WHERE: Albuquerque Journal, meet at the front
lobby
TIME: 1:00 PM
Don’t
forget your jacket – we’ll be going outdoors in between buildings. We will be
using some stairs during the tour as well.
About the
Albuquerque Journal: the oldest, largest, and only statewide newspaper in
New Mexico
The Albuquerque Journal is
a family-owned, independent morning newspaper, which is a rarity in today’s
conglomerate-run newspaper industry. Published 365 days a year, the Albuquerque
Journal circulates throughout New Mexico and into Texas, Colorado and
Arizona. The Albuquerque Journal traces its history to 1880 and has been
owned by the Lang family the entire duration! In 2009, the Albuquerque Journal
was among the top 100 US Daily Newspapers with a daily circulation of 101,810 and a Sunday circulation of 132,832.
